How do I apply for an internship?
You need to fill out an application form found on our website, and ensure that you attach all of the requested material. Full details of requirements are listed on the application form.

When will I know that I have an internship placement?
All students that have applied for an internship will meet with their supervisor at UNSW in the first week of semester classes. After a brief consultation with you, your supervisor will decide on the best company to approach on your behalf. If the company decide to accept an intern they will interview you and then let you know if you have been successful.

Do I need to pay extra to have an internship placement?
No. The internship is a substitute for a 6UOC course and is covered by standard tuition fees.

What is the deadline to apply for an internship?
You should apply at least two months before the start of semester, and your enrolment in an internship cannot be guaranteed before arrival, as you will need to meet with your supervisor on arrival before your placement can be confirmed.
